Update 1.0.212 Adds Initializer and Invisible Block, Boosts Jetpack
Source: Steam Community
A new small update, version 1.0.212, is now available. It brings two new components, several jetpack tweaks, and a handful of quality-of-life improvements.
The new Initializer component is added for builders who want more control over their creations. Also new is the Invisible Block, which is visible in Build Mode but disappears in Fly Mode. This block is only available with the “Unlimited components” world setting, making it handy for cinematic shots and hidden structures.
Jetpack users will notice a few changes: maximum upward force has been slightly increased, and capacity is larger, so it lasts longer before needing to recharge. Hover Mode now also cancels unwanted horizontal velocity, helping counter forces like wind. In addition, the strength of joints on all fuel tanks has been increased.
This update also includes a significant performance improvement for Ctrl+G, which is now around 2.5× faster when selecting very large builds. Several fixes are included as well:
- Fixed an issue causing particles not to render on some AMD devices.
- Fixed a sound leak on Glass Half Curved 4.
- Fixed an issue where outlines were not removed after pressing Ctrl+G.
